13 years ago, my mother got me started in the doily business and craft shows making a doily, table runner or a dresser scarf. She has been participating in craft shows for over 25 years and is a seamstress by trade from Germany. Both of us have been very successful, and it is time to support our craft shows with a web page. Neither one of us has a permanent store. We both have sewing rooms in our homes where we create everything.

Each doily is individually handcrafted (sewed) before it is shipped to you. I don't make the lace, but I design every doily from the lace and then sew with my sewing machine. The lace I use is known as a "Machine Macrame" lace and my past customers have said it's more beautiful than "Venetian" lace. In some parts of the world, it's also known as "drawnwork" lace. It is absolutely gorgeous and these pictures don't do the lace justice. The lace is 100% polyester and so is the material. Other laces are either cotton (translation extensive ironing) or rayon (translation dryclean).

I also carry sweatshirt jackets and denim shirts decorated with the same beautiful lace. You can wash and dry the sweatshirts and denim shirts as often as you want and the lace holds up beautifully!
